As a born and bred Haligonian, I love our spirited province….in all its heritage and beauty! I’ve lived and worked in Halifax all my life, but ventured to many different cities and countries over the years, only to return home. Trailing travel is my second passion ……for all those critters, great and small! I’ve had many various pets over the years, from a goldfish and guineau pig to my rabbit, Chelsea! I must confess though, I have a special place in my heart for dogs. Dog-sitting is now a part-time job for me, with a few semi-adopted buddies. Once I find my ‘dream house’, I hope to adopt at least 5 wonderful beasts!

I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work with the Bide Awhile Animal Shelter in volunteering for the Ceilidh for Critters! It is such a fantastic cause, the issue of homeless animals always needs this kind of on-going attention and I'm so glad to get involved with animals in a new way. I’m thrilled to give my support to the Ceilidh and although this is only my second year working with the “Ceilidh for Critters” crew, they are an awesome bunch and I hope to continue for many years.
