Originally from the South Shore, I have lived in Halifax for the past
five years and don't intend on leaving anytime soon! I am currently working
in one of the best jobs for a dog lover and a people lover - I am the
Program Coordinator for the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program. I
get to spend loads of time with dogs, look up dog-related articles and
cartoons online and talk with other dog lovers everyday. Lucky me! Despite
my apparent obsession with dogs, I am in the process of adopting two cats
from - you guessed it - the Bide Awhile Animal Shelter!
My involvement with the Ceilidh started last year when I came to the event
to help out with the silent auction. I had an amazing time - everyone
was so friendly and the atmosphere was just incredible. I was addicted!
So now I'm helping out with anything I can - sponsorship, media, putting
up posters, you name it! This year is going to be another success, and
I'm proud to be part of this team.
See you all there!
